Mobill’s Technology
Mobill’s technology consists of the Mobill Service Platform (MSP), our secure server solution, and Mcode, which enables MSP to generate tickets and coupons that can be transmitted over SMS or Internet then scanned and validated from mobile phone screens.
MSP is Mobill’s server solution for M-Commerce. MSP has a modular architecture which, in its simplest form, has four interfaces. MSP’s existing applications power payments, tickets, coupons, car parking and broadcast of informational messages.
Consumers may conduct transactions not only via smartphone apps, but also via web and text messaging so that M-Commerce becomes available to all mobile phone users.
Payments can be made by carrier billing (to post-pay account or pre-pay credit), credit card or via pay-later invoice supported by a credit check. Since MSP is modular, further payment methods can be added.
Transactions are completed by validation. Mobill’s Mcode ticket and coupon solution enables validation to take place automatically by scanning the mobile phone screen. MSP also includes payment APIs that interact with vending machines and point of sale equipment. MSP will be extended to include further validation technologies such as Near Field Communication (NFC), which enables transactions to be completed by tapping a card or mobile phone against a sensor pad.
Vendor support includes managing campaigns, administration and analysing results.
